- Kjersti Kristensen /Games Designer
I've always been drawn to all aspects of game creation - I love learning, building and creating~
I'm driven by creativity, story and logic - currently focused on my newest project (Elementum), picking up 3D Coat, and learning C# to strengthen my overall knowledge!
Here's a snippit of some of the work I've done/ working on.
Elementum - Board Game Design~

CONCEPT SNIPPIT:
Elementum is a 1v1 deck building game. Your characters are mages, battling it out high up in the air - armed with wits and magic~ Goal? Kill your opponent, nice and simple!

Elementum is my current Board Game project. Barring the art, it's purely physical, though I do have plans to turn it into a Unity project eventually.

I'm a tactile person, so I quite enjoy making paper prototypes to test mechanics on all my games, regardless of platform.

Stitched In - Unity Game~
CONCEPT SNIPPIT:
Stitched In is a tile based puzzle game where every action matters! The walls are alive, the floor treacherous and all you want to do is escape! (and maybe find out how you got yourself into this mess along the way).

Stitched In was my final year project in university. It was created using Unity. To create it I did the Art, UI, Level Design, Programming (mainly playmaker, with some C#), and, of course, the concept.
I'm very pleased with this project, both for what I learned working on it and for the final results.
An absolute joy to work on. It got me a 1st in my Games Design course, and it was chosen to be presented at the ExpoTees convention; hosted by Teesside University (which was fun~).
Gamejams
CONCEPT SNIPPIT:
In Corrupted Transmissions you play as a guard, viewing the world through monitors. Your job is to help the scientist stay away from the monster loose in the lab, while guiding them to freedom~

This was a bit too ambitious of a game for a gamejam, but it was still loads of fun, and it is playable, though difficult to get a handle on. My responsibilities during this was; concept, level design, block-out and UI.
